Jim, my friend had the same thing happen to him, he bought a jdm motor from a canadian supplier, the timing belt was ripped off, it was stuck on but ripped or snapped off. The head had bent valves, so he had to rebuild the head for another 500$, it was not worth it trying to ship it back to canda and get the money back sinc ehe'd have to pay for shipping plus a 20% restocking fee, but that engine you got there, it alsmost is a shame that you are taking it apart and building it up, because it looks like it was maticulously maintained.
