Heres my problem. For the last few months when ever i would turn at a stop sign or light i would hear a loud thumping noise and then it would go away about half way through 2nd gear. It only happend every once in a while but it started doing it more and getting worse.
One day it got really bad and would do it every time i started from a stop. When i got on the highway the car was shaking really bad and i was hearing a tink tink tink noise under the car. So i go home and jack up the car and transmission fluid was just pouring from in between the transmission and transfer case.

Any one have a idea what could be wrong? I was thinking the viscous coupling maby.

Check the transaxle, about 20 minutes ago I was going down the road and about the same thing happened to me. I got it home and pulled the front right wheel off and the transaxle had completely tore shit up when it popped out, if there is leaking fluid you may need a new transfer case.
