So i just bought a 99 Gsx last weekend for 4300$ it had alot of after market parts. Pretty solid car 83k on the motor. On the way back from buying the car about 1 hour on the highway my friend was driving it back for me. He said he could here sounded like nuts getting thrown on the motor in the engine bay. There was a big cloud of smoke coming from under the care and the exahuast. I pulled up behind him and there was coolant leaking from under the car. He looked under the car and said there was a hole in the oil pan about the size of a quater. So what in thinkin is he threw a rode and it went through the block to the oil pan. I cant confirm that it went through the oil pan or not because i havnt gotten a chance too look but i can see a hole through the block. I dont know what caused it. But the guy said the car was running fine. He told me before i bought the car that the clutch was slippin and he had reseipts on the work hes put on the car. So what i want to know is what will be the best way of getting the car fixed. I dont know much about motors but i just wanna know what you guys think.

The car wont start there no clicking it wont even try to start.
Sounds like rod knock. You're going to need to drop the oil pan and check for shaving. Also if you Rev the car and that sound gets louder then I'm 90% sure it's rod knock

Oh forgot to mention after all of that on the high way i ended up getting the car towed back to my house. The car dousnt start but the electrical works.
