I noticed that whenever I drive my car for more than 30 minutes my idle starts to rise, I watch my AFC and when cold the TPS reads perfect at 0, but when warm it starts to rise usually around .5% to 1.5%, but yesterday I drove my car for about an hour and the TPS got as high as 4%, so I pull over and push on the TB to shut and my idle drops back to normal. I now conclude that I my problem was the throttle cable when all along I thought I had either a TPS or ECU issue...So after letting my car cool down I get to work on the assembly that links all 3 cables (pedal, cruise control, and TB). I check for any binding but I dont see any, could the cable be shrinking when it gets hot? Anyone else experience similar issues?
