Ok guys, I have had all unnecessary vacuum lines removed for awhile now and I have a vacuum cap on the port on top of the throttle body that keeps splitting. I have had this happen at least three times now, I'll be looking under the hood and oh, the vacuum cap split again giving me a boost leak. I'm a little frustrated with it now, and Im looking for anyone that has a more permanent solution to this. I know I could just weld it shut but that would be an eyesore LOL Any other options?

The most elegant solution (IMO) short of welding is to yank the nipple, tap the hole, and put a set screw in. M6x1.0 works nicely for this without having to drill. Of course, you'll want to be sure not to get engine shavings in your engine so removing the throttle body would be recommended.

I have 1g's but I took some tight fitting hose and cut two very short sections. I looped the outer nipples together and the inner ones together and it doesn't look bad at all.
