Throttle Body Vaccum Lines

Okay i bought a another tb from our member because i think mine is crapped out.
my idle is really bad, sometimes it will idle perfect and then it will idle at 500 rpm and die out sometimes. when this idle surge happens my interior lights dim aswell.
could it be my isc or is it battery related.

anyways when the other throttle body comes i want to cap my vacuum lines,
i only want to cap number #1 on the picture because it makes a loud hissing noise, when i restrict it meaning i bend the vacuum line the noise goes away.
my fellow 1g 90 tuners can i just cap off vacuum line #1? ill put it back when i need to go smog.

the four lines on the throttle body for the EGR valve and the emissions canister (two lines for each). if you want to cap off a line, you need to get rid of either the EGR valve or emissions.

I also see another problem you have. You need to have a line for the BOV from the intake manifold with NOTHING tee'd into it.

I'm not sure what your setup is for mbc/wastegate but if you have a mbc, it should be: boost source(j-pipe) > mbc > wastegate

i want to get rid of that junk i dont even know how to use it. its an hks evc 3. maybe i can trade with someone. im pretty sure someone knows how to tune this thing.

i think ill listen to you on that one. ill take off the tee and just plug it straight to the bov.
my problem is what am i going to plug the other vacuum line into.

let me see if I got this right. the line on the TB (#1 in your picture) is leaking right at the nipple for the vacuum line? try a little silicone so it seals the line to the nipple.

what does the EVC need for lines? one vacuum/boost source and the wastegate? if so just go from your j-pipe fitting to the EVC and from the EVC to the wastegate

it looks like one line needs to go to the wastegate, one to the j-pipe, and one to the intake manifold.

the one for the intake manifold is what I'm guessing is tee'd into the BOV line. without drilling and tapping a new nipple on the IM, I would try putting a tee into the FPR line for the EVC.

wells here how it is right now.
port #1 is to wastegate
port #2 is j pipe
port #3 is tee'd to bov and intake manifold.

do think i should leave it like this or is there something wrong with it.

well hopefully someone else can chime in; my knowledge kind of ends here. I've always been told to never tee something into the BOV line. like wastegate to the j-pipe and a boost gauge tee'd into the FPR instead of the BOV.

I would say to change the line from the BOV to the FPR, but if you already have a boost gauge in there then I don't know how the performance of the EVC, boost gauge, and FPR would be with all three things in one source.

well i don't have a boost gauge yet. the evc is a boost gauge but it reads in bars. im getting a boost gauge. where can i tee that to get it to work?

Any line that reads vaccum should work.

fuel pressure solenoid is my only option to tap in the boost gauge since the intake manifold is already tee'd with the bov and evc.

yup. thanks for the link. sucks having to waiting for your parts to come in the mail. but once they come man i'm in for a treat. fmic + boost gauge + egt + change oil and tranny + clean my car the engine bay of my for crap thats not suppose to be there. at one point i think my car when tuning cars was at its high it was the shiznit. i have a radar detector hardwired/jammer. i just have a lot of wires that don't lead to anything.
