I just swapped my motor and and when I went to install my throttle cable on my t/b, it's entirely to tight. I'm talking tight enough that I had to remove the two 10mm bolts completely, install the cable, and bolt it back up.

So since the bracket didn't help with loosening it (it's full to the left [loose]). So as it sits now the t/b flapper is like 30% open. Aka, idle is gonna suck when I start her up.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to try and adjust it right at the cruise control box. I don't want/need cruise control I just don't have to other cable.

Any suggestions?

It's probably something stupid simple, but after swapping my motor, my mind is all tuckered out hehe :p

Yea, when I was searching around about the problem, that's the solution that came up. But I have it adjusted full loose and its still too tight. I actually had to connect the cable and pull it to bolt that bracket back on.

I'll be sure to hit that up tomorrow too, I did wire up all my gauges at once, I may have fudged something up :p

What should I look for, I've heard the spring may be jacked up? Idk, I'll just take a look in the morn
