I purchased a Threespeed scattershield for my 1g awd a couple years back. Bought it second hand and didn't get the bolt with it. Anyone have any info on the length of the bolt? I contacted Threespeed a couple weeks ago and haven't gotten a response.

Can you tell where the bolt goes when you line up the scattershield into its place? Can you tell if you have a bolt there already that you can remove and reinstall to secure the shield? Is there even a hole? Sorry for the dumb questions, but I have never installed one, or even payed attention to how they are bolted on, so I'm just guessing. If you have a hole already I would just experiment with what bolt will work. I wouldn't think it would have to be super long or anything. Good luck!:)

Its the lower bolt that goes from the blockside into the trans

No its longer so it can cone through the bell housing and the scattershield gets fastened to the extra lenght of the bolt with a nut
