This might be a stupid question but is it necessary to put thread sealer on the bottom half of the the clutch line fitting into the master? I've been trying to make sure my clutch is bleed properly as my south bend ss pressure plate is softer than my daily driver lancer which doesn't seem right. I bench bled my slave and bled everything when I installed my new clutch. I had to pull out my master to get rid of some surface rust bad paint underneath and can't remember if that fitting was installed already without it when I put this new master and slave in a few thousand miles ago. Just trying to rule potential air entry points out. Any thoughts are appreciated.
