Clutch Line fitting siezed and now rounded!

Apparently when the last 7 bolt went in at the dealer they must have grossly overtightened the brass clutchline fitting.

Even with a line wrench it just rounded off.

At this point I jsut have to ahve ti cut off and replaced with a new fitting? Correct?

I was trying to remove it to fit my SS clutch line I got from RRE, but that is now impossible.

I tried everything but a pipe wrench (clearance too tight).
What size fitting do i need, or do I jsut take the car and the line and say... here, new fitting?

Tried visegrips yet? I know on a 1g its a tight fit, but I was able to crack a friends line loose with a pair of visegrips.

It's only two bolts. Pull the slave off and do it on the bench.

I haven't tried vise grips yet... that will be my last chance to get it off and back on.

I wouldn't bother you with something like a slave fitting (which is a banjo bolt anyway)

sorry, I always think of the other as a banjo bolt... not a fitting
