Thoughts on Body Damage?

Well I found what looks like to be a good deal, but it is in a car with some cosmetic body damage and kinda ok interior, but engine, tranny, and upgrades seem like good deal. I saw some pictures and it wasn't anything major.

The car has bad oxidation on the hood, and has dents and scratches along whole passenger side. Nothing I couldn't pull and fix.

What is a "non-abs conversion" ? Did he get rid of the ABS? Why, if so? The hood and bumper on it look good minus the oxidation... So the extras are not needed, but nice...
