Ok I have a set of 15" rims I had on my 1g. What are everyones opinions of them on a 2g. I have searched and most only use 15" rims with drag radials. Mine will be more for a DD and eventully street/strip.

Personally im more apt to stick with stock rim size or one inch bigger for a DD anyway. What size of tire you planning to run on the 15" if you use it?

15" wheels do clear 2G GSX brakes depending on the wheel. My friend was running a set of Rota slipstreams in a 15X7 size and it worked fine. Not sure what offset. He was running them because the wheels themselves weighed 9 pounds. Wow that's light. But those same wheels have been shown to warp and twist on a roadcourse so they won't go on my car.

One addition to the above: besides drag-racing, the other good use for 15"s is rallycross. And one guy was crazy enough to show up at Nationals last year with a 2G, so I'm not the only person to have done this.

I am going to try 15 on my RR car, I was looking at 14 but did not find any that would clear calipers.

I was talking about rally tires, peeps. Those are all 15"s. Even the Mini Clubman WRC car is on 15"s.

Maybe I just don't know what "RR" stands for. I assumed some form of rallying.

On a DD/weekend warrior i wouldn't go any smaller then 17's ever. The 2g wheel well can swallow 19's. There's a black 2g n/t on here somewhere with some 19's that looks great.

Maybe throw some stickies on the 15's for a set to run at the track.
