15" rims on a 96 gst???

hey guys i was wondering if i could use 15" rims, replacing the two front wheels of my 96 gst. The reason is because i want to be able use the bfg drag radials 225/50/15. what do you guys recomend. Or can I go with 17" rims with 235/45/17

Also, what is the widest that i can go with without rolling the fenders, witH a stock suspension.

Assuming you havn't upgraded to the "big brakes" from an AWD car, 15s will fit. After all 15 is the stock wheels size on a RS.
