15" rims and Drag radials on 1g awd ???

Would I benefit at the track with some lighweight 15" rims with drag radials? I'm running 93 tsi wheels w/ 225/50/16 Futura's ....i wanna remove some rotating mass.give me your opinions?

i already have a welded diff and 4 bolt rear

What is the drivabillity like on a welded center diff?

drivability suffered a bit. A little scrubbing on tires on low speed turns and little bit of oversteer. But...now atleast i don't have to worry about breaking center diffs at the track everytime.I love the launching 50/50
