drag radials and offsets

I searched with no luck.

I am wanting a 245/50/16 nitto drag radial on my 2g. The suspension is stock.

I am currently looking at a set of rota grids, they are a 16X7 with a +40 offset, and a rota grid offroad 16X8 +20 offset.

I am thinking the offroads would give me a better contact surface, but will they fit in the fenders after rolling?
