I bought the 2G kit for 50$ that comes with the usb cable, and an evoscan liscense. In my opinion its cheaper than buying a palm kit, no batteries to be replacing on the palm either. If you have a laptop you just have to install the .net framework, and the drivers for the cable. Plus Jeff is a great guy and he ships his stuff fast.

For tuning you really should also get a wideband if you don't have one, but yeah with an SAFC + this logger, and wideband you could get a nice tune out of it.

yep i just order this kit for $50 cable and the evoscan software i already have a laptop , but the bad thing i dont know how to tune any tips

im inm the same boat but i got hooked up threw a dsmtuners member with a local guy who will tune for me at a real good rate and im sure i will look over his shoulder the intire time!!!

on my last car I was freaked when it came to tuning but after I played with it for a while making small adjustments I quickly learned the system pretty well and it didn't seem that bad. make sure you have a good logger and a wideband and your good to go... That was 5 years ago though so I'm back in the same boat, kinda gun shy...

Is it worth it to get EVOSCAN if you already have a pocketlogger.. this is for a 95 eclipse with eeprom ecu. It says it logs at MUCH slower rates? Does this mean slower than the pocketlogger software would log at?
