this fuel pump will be a direct bolt in?

Yes it is a bolt on and you can very well run a 255lph without using an afpr. I have done it many times and I'm sure tons on here have as well.

Search around and you will see tons of people running 255's without any type of fuel management and car runs just fine and will allow for a couple extra psi.

I stand by your side as I run a 255lph without AFPR. Walbro makes a high and low pressure 255. With the high pressure you HAVE to run a AFPR. I have no issues running the low pressure without.
