I want to buy a Drift kit for my laser. But I also want to lower it. The setup i am looking at lowers the car 2 inches. Would this cause the kit to sit on the ground? I dont want the bumper that low. But I dont want the wheel gap either. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

check out my profile & pics. I have the Drifter kit on my 1GA and I defienetly could not put in lowering springs. I bottom out enough as it is with the stock suspension. The biggest problem is how far the front bumper sticks out and how close to the ground it is. Makes any driveway steaper that 20-25 degrees pretty tuff.

I have the drift kit on my car and it is lowered 2 inches. Dont get me wrong, it is a pain in the ass to drive sometimes being so low. But it is worth it when it is parked and sittin all pretty, less wheel gap too!:D That is with 18" wheels with 35's profile tire

I can't say much on the Drift kit, I own a 2g and I have the Bomex with sprint lowering springs and 17inch wheels, I destroyed the bomex pulling in to a lot because of a small lip in the where the driveway met the main road. That being said I have seen many kits destroyed because of the car being lowered to much with the kit. I can fit just my top part of my foot under mine and after destroying a 400.00 kit. I am thinking twice of haveing another body kit.
