Hey guys,

I have a 420a N/A engine, 135k on the clock. The engine is coming out for an engine bay repaint, as well as a few other things. Anything I should replace while the engine is out? Timing belt, water pump, etc...?

Everything is easier with the engine out. I would certainly recommend changing the timing belt and water pump at the least if the water pump has not been replaced. If it were me, I would also replace any oil seals you have access to (crank, cams, oil pump sprocket, etc). The fuel filter is also pretty easy without the engine in the bay. I would also take the time to inspect the wire harness and check the condition of the steering rack.
