i put a new thermostat in my car and it seems to run a little hot. it runs just past halfway on my gauge, and i was wondering if i need to worry about this?

TURFNNSURF said:OK, may I suggest that you go to the local Mitsu dealer and buy an OEM t-stat. Here is a picture of an OEM T-stat (left) and one from NAPA. You can see that they are not alike. The T-stat from NAPA has a smaller plunger opening that doesn't flow as much as OEM.
