thermostat housing cracked

Alright, so the part that the thermostat goes into that bolts to the engine with three bolts cracked. I don't know what else to call it but the thermostat housing to try and find a replacement. If anyone knows where I could find one or possibly has one, I would appreciate it.

If you give in and decide to go to Satan, the part number is:
M04667515 - CASE, THERMOSTAT
M04667504 - FITTING, COOLING SYSTEM (I believe this is the part that actually connects to the upper radiator hose).

I went to a few junk yards already and one of the guys told me that no one would have one because everyone just got rid of all their stuff like this laying around, being that the price of metal was up. There is still a few more around here I could check into. Thanks for the numbers though, if i do have to give in.

I have mine cracked too before during a rebuild and I just used JBWeld to seal the crack and it held fine for 3 years until I found one for sale for $35 dollars brand new @ oem-car-parts.com

I just cracked 2 of these. I'm flaming, I guess it's because I got in a rush to take it to the track tomorrow. I believe mine cracked because I tried to use the wrong gasket because all the parts stores were closed. Hopefully I can find a NT one tomorrow so I dont have to reweld the turbo outlet one shut again.

I know this thread is old, but I have to ask. Do any of the above DSM'ers who found a 2G N/T thermostat housing (the part that connects to the upper radiator hose) still have any to sell? Mine broke, and cannot find one anywhere.

I know of about 5 2nd gen eclipses that have been sitting in the same spots around the town I live in for the last 5 years at least, so they're definitely not daily drivers, and all are within 5 miles of my house. There's a chance I might be able to get ahold of one.

just for future reference..... if you are stuck and looking for any mitsu part and just can't find it anywhere. . . www.mitsubishigraveyard.com you have to call the guy (Gary) but he can find anything and everything there is for a mitsu.
