A nice set of struts and springs wouldnt be to bad neither, wheel gap is :notgood:. As long as you paint the whole car one decent color and drop it a little it wouldnt look to bad, i honsetly dont like body kits/spoilers and all that stuff but as long as its done right it doesnt bother me. To give you my opinion about the spoiler, if you are going to take it off, the car has to be lowered for it to look right. Wingless 2g's + stock suspension = :nono:
Good luck deciding.

i like the 97-99 eclipse spoiler i havent taken the toe nail off yet but ill find time soon

Alright guys so i removed the wing over the past couple days and i patched and filled the holes. Ill put up some pics tommorow. Now whos got ideas on what i should do to the rear window button. ha maybe make it do something else...but what?

Have any neons?? or LED's? That would be pretty cool to wire lights up to that switch. Its easy to im about to do it myself

I dont know, but the thumbnail looks alright, i would spend the money under the hood but thats me. Dont take any offense. People are starting to put 2gb spoilers on talons which looks alright actually. oh well see what pleases you man its your statement of a vehicle.;)

i didnt like my wing on my car so i took it off and sold it...then jumped on here and seen RedTurboEclipse's car...makes me wish i didnt take the wing off...but then again, everytime i'm on the highway, some lil honda hatchback punk wants to drive next to me and rev at me, and that's somethin that i dont miss...

I took my wing off, wiper, wiper sprayer at the top and antenna when i re-painted my car a couple years ago.

Thinking of going wingless with the cf hatch, think it would look good on my car? Only thing that will be different is the car will be lower(wil have coilovers)

DSM_Alpha i may be the only person that has thought of this and it may be totally retarded but have you considered a stock wing from a 94-95 mustang. i have toyed with putting one on my car but it needs other work first

I took mine off my talon last week and there are some HUGE holes, about 3 inches long, 2 inches wide where the very ends of the spoiler go into the sides of the hatch. I don't have the money for a shop to do the work so I bought some bondo to do a self patching job. Is this a smart idea? I haven't done it yet.. And I don't want it to be completely obvious when I have to touch up the bondo with paint, if possible.

Yea that is not a smart idea. Most likely the bondo will end up cracking with those holes that size , then when it rains water will get in your trunk. The best thing to do is weld the holes shut and then fill it in with some body filler.

i love the eclipse turbo spoiler! imo i think its the best looking spoiler that came stock on any car beside the evo and sti spoiler! i have a 96 talon that i am taking on the stock wing and putting on that wing. w/o a spoiler these cars just look bare

I'm really thinking about doing this soon. I never really liked the low spoiler and think the no wing look sick.

Anybody know a faq on removing the 1gb ECLIPSE wing? i got some bad rattle and its annoying as hell

Yes i do take off the plastic cover in the trunk. there are two screws 10mm, loosen them
up then slide the spoiler away from the car. be careful not to breake the plastic clips.

Well, I took the wing off the eclipse today. Here is what it looked like before. Yes I know it needs lowered. :p
