So I've been working on my interior, actually testing materials and methods to redo my interior. Basically I'm looking for a color change, and while paint (fuzion, etc) seems to hold onto the hard plastic pieces without much issue it didn't work all that well on my vinyl test pieces. The problem is in durability, my car is a daily driver not a trailer queen and as such the interior pieces see their share of the usual wear and tear. The solution that I'm currently considering is buying some vinyl and gluing it over the existing vinyl pieces...rolling it and pressing it to ensure it duplicates all the factory lines, curves, indents and corners. What I'm looking for is any thoughts or suggestions you guys might have in this direction.

UH I thought dupli-color made some fabric paint for vinyl and leather. I found it in the wal-mart automotive section. :thumb:

yeah i have some, but i wasn't satisfied with it's results on the test piece. :thumbdown

did you prep it properly? I have the vinyl/leather dye all over my car, and i havent had any complaints with it, even on seats.
