The paint is called kyamali Flash and its a standox color. Exactly how its done I dont know..but its cooooool

Very Very sweet change!! I was at a car show this weekend and saw an old street rod with a color very similar, and WOW is all i can say. your right, pictures just wouldn't do that color justice. i was thinking of how cool it would be to have a DSM in that color or close to it... then tonight i find this thread. congrats on the awesome looking car again! you never cease to amaze us. BTW, what's going on with the stereo now though? repainting that as well i imagine.

Nice job, can't wait to see the fully finished pics of exterior AND interior!

Yeh, what's up with that stereo set up? Did you change that up in design as well? Anyhow AWESOME work so far man!!! That hood definitely is different than any I have seen before. Make some small vent holes along that edge? Hmmmm....

And even though the pics don't do the paint justice ya' can still tell it flops...looks killer from here! Love the splitter too.

Now we need to see pics of it all together with a European mountain background or country side.

Well A CF tailipiece would be cool..might actually do that I have a spare centerpiece that I could use so...will see if I can do that

The stereo setup is gone...trashed...burned I am doing a new style but with same equipment..Audiobahn all the way. How it will turn out I dunno yet but...will try to figure something nice up
Rest of interior is going slowly right now but foors are done...Race seats comin in this weekend hopefully.Stering wheel is changed....Dash board is being flocked or what the hell its caled in englis next week if everything goes right..so hopefully it will be all back together in a few weeks

i know that colour..a former work colleage has the same colour on his Golf..looks as tight as hell..btw..when painting the golfs bodykit pieces..the grill mesh got painted in the same colour too..it was by accident..but it looked sweet

yeah, when i redid my front end last spring, i left some of the mesh grill in (on purpose though), and i'm glad i did. i think i like that better than the silver to be honest. maybe a thought to try out sometime, or at least a good photoshop to get the idea.

Take a pic if you get a chance with that center piece removed, im having a prob too so im going to need to fabricate something because i dont have the same mounting points as an eclipse. i have no idea what they look like

well under the centerpiece there is four bolts holding the bumper down.And then thre on each side under the taillights. I have three bolts on each rear fender edge that the rear bumper is attached to as well. Now I am just making a bracket underneath to holdit in at the middle at the bottom.

dude you have the #1 best spyder of all time. you are my idol. soon i am doing a system in the rear like yours, but a little different, but the rear seats are useless so theyre going.

just a question. in your old setup, was the actual wood box the subs went into ported? i would think so but im no expert.

keep it up bro, show and go at the same time is hard to pull off but youre doing it great.

The wing only looks tall because it's a Spyder and they have different rooflines that what we're used to. As far as him getting laid, he's married so I don't think he has any problems there anyway.
