hello i need help tuning me car. The highschool race in fallon is comming up and i need my car to be in tip top shape before i go. I am having one problem. When i am shifting to second from first, it feels like my car is hitting fuel cut. Any opinions???

could be a boost leak. or it could be fuel cut. you have an afc? if so let me tune your shit on race gas so you can smoke those other kids

you are still on stock maf if my memory serves me correct and you have vent to atmospere bov...wouldnt you get overly rich mixtures when shifting being un recirc....when i watched you race you got a fat flame out your muffler inbetween 1st and 2nd...my friend eric had the same prob with his supra...but he got it 2nd to 3rd aswell...

Let me tell you how Ryan gapped my spark plugs to .35. No wonder I was getting the top end cut. I set it to .29 and it run likes a champ. I knew it was only something that stupid.

Check your plugs again. Mine only cut out in first gear too. I fixed the gapping and its great. between .28-.31.

My opinion? Buy a clutch and use race gas. Oh, and gut the $hit out of the MAS <-- my favorite.

I got a cluth the act 2100 but its not in. I dont have the money too. I did gut the mass a lot. any other suggestions?

We gapped your plugs correctly?

yeah i think so for the stock turbo setup. anywhere from .32-.35. it's cool though. me and parker put on my fuel pump the other day. I picked up some thread lock finally. gonna fix my studs tomorrow. Hope ur seein some sick azz cars in Japan.

if you guys mod your cars at all i would gap them at .28 minimum. i always gapped mine at .25 until i got my crane ignition, then they got gapped at .38
