I for one, happen to like Drama City. Its like watching one of those reality shows, except I know the people on the set, and I can participate.

Hahaha. I like how you worded it.

John. My T28 lit your 54trim up TWICE. Once by Randys house and once on the freeway on the way to sacramento for the sacramento meet! Josh... you were there :)

Hi from Japan btw.

the apexi is not a full 3 inches either it tapers down to stock size at the cat...

Yes it is a full three inch. Its an adapter at the beginning of the catback so it will bolt on to the stock downpipe. Once you get a downpipe, you can take that adapter off and run the full 3". I know cause I have the adapter on right now.

Nick, are you still going to school up in Tahoe? I'm looking at transfering next semester, or next year at the latest.

nope.. got boring up there, classes were to small for me. going to tmcc for a year then to unr.

no clue where it is. Its kind of wierd not having a phone anymore. I kind of miss it :p

Yeah I have school till 6:45 tonight. It's my long action packed day of ScHoOl :barf:

Nitrous for your automatic. It will keep all the drivability of the stock stall converter, but will launch a lot harder. A small 50 shot wont be hard on the motor, but it will be enough to spool the turbo when you launch and give you a much better hole shot. There is a guy on this site with a 2g talon with a 16g and nos in his auto, and it ran 12.0 I believe (race gas of course).

You're stupid, shut up. It's full 3''.

John: I'd own your old car in a heart beat. My T-28 GST BEAT your car on pump gas with stock fuel support.

Tim: Thanks :)

I'm stupid?

Our DPs have a 2 1/2" stainless steel first bend with a 2 1/2" stainless steel flex section. They then expand to 3"# right after the flex section right under the oil pan area. Why start out at 2 1/2"? If you are running on the stock O2 sensor housing, even ported it is 2 1/2" inside diameter. When the exhaust gasses are hot, they flow better, 2 1/2" is plenty for the first 12". As the gasses cool , bigger helps. By going to 3" after the flex section, we allow this expansion and also allow for better clearance at the front where room is tight. From there they are a full 3" back to the Apex 3" flange with 14 gauge aluminized steel piping. We had some Apexi flanges laser cut# out of thick 1/2" steel for a good seal and fit.#

But then again im sure they would make it full (o2 back) 3" if requested.

*sigh* first off it was a 57 trim and second the combo was not even a week old when we screwed around (raced). if youll remember correctly i couldnt get the thing to run on pump gas cause i couldnt get under 18 psi. how come your able to brag when your car ran 13.7 and my car ran 12.6? im a full sec faster and your car can beat mine? please explain. your combo is very similar too. is it that you have no idea how to tune? lets hear your explanation. and please ryan, no race gas excuses. thats as bad as saying nitrous is cheating.

I was kidding Josh, that's why I put the " :p " at the end. I think if you build your motor to take it, it is just like adding a turbo kit or supercharger on a N/A motor.

adding a turbo to my na was dumb...but it did like the nitrous!!!

Big bad john on the internet. So, you say that I cant use ::no racegas:: as an excuse but yet YOU use it when I said that I beat you with my t-28?

if youll remember correctly i couldnt get the thing to run on pump gas cause i couldnt get under 18 psi.

And my car is full weight too... no weight reduction what-so-ever. As I remember, you had no ac, no power steering, and no emissions. I have ac, power steering, power doors - locks, ac, spare tire, jack, tools, catalytic converter, backpack, leather, electric seats.... I can go on and on.

However, yes, my time still should have been faster even with all the above, but, my boost gauge was broken (no joke), so when I installed a new boost gauge I discovered that I was only boosting 15psi at the track. So, a 3200lbs+ car running a 13.7@100mph with only 15psi at 4200 feet, Id say my tune was decent. But even now, with only 2 months of tuning experiance under my belt, for my full weight awd on pump gas holding off a 11.8@120mph track car on the street seems like Im getting better at this.

Remember John, not everyone is as old as you, some people are new to this game :)

In any event, I still feel like the looser here because im trying to defend my embarrasing time at the track, when in reality I shouldnt try to do anything about it and let people like you underestamate my car.

haha. when i ran 13.2@101 i was only unning 18 psi on the STOCK turbo. this shoudlnt be new to you as ive known you at leat two years. i was running 12s the first 2 months i had my awd as i got all my experience with my front drive. if you would LISTEN to what josh and i tell you youd be there too. but you choose to be stubborn and do it the hard way. theres something honorable in that but its still a waste of time. i wont bicker anymore with you on the internet ryan as i know your persona on here is different than in person. your a decent guy, just spoiled. have fun with the japanese and i might hit you up for some parts. :thumb:

Anybody want a 1st gen cylinder head? 2g guys? 1g guys? You could get this one built while you drive around on your stocker. I have 4. I'll sell them for $75 each.
I also have two 7 bolt 1st gen bottom ends. Complete, block, crank, rods, pistons, oil pans. $120 each. Both these bottom ends ran before they were yanked (if that mattered to you).
I also have the 6 bolt block from my 90 AWD car. It is the 6 bolt block plus crank. I'll sell that for $100.

i might take one of those heads josh. ill let you know next week.
