ruf_round_edges said:Blue book value is about $5K depending on options and condition. In my experiences, high mileage (that high) is something to stay away from. Just my $.02 though.
Well Traveled said:No way it's worth that much. Let me tell you from experience that jumping at a car because it's the only option is a HUGE mistake. When buying any car, especially a dsm, you should look for one that you can find the history for. Also, there are always good deals to be found out there. Many people find dsms with way less miles and NOT from a dealership and get great deals. You have to be patient and find the car you want with good mileage. Shop around, you won't regret it!![]()
In my zip, that car with every option and excellent condition is worth 4200 on kbb.com.

$3375 in good condition for private sale.
Granted retail is going to be $1000-2k more but thats not its actual worth, thats what a resaler would HOPE to sell it for. In reality I would offer 3k, he probably wants it off his hands
ruf_round_edges said:He's buying it from a DEALER, meaning he will pay RETAIL. You can't value a car at private party value if you are buying it from a dealer. That's the reason there are separate categories.
