I would like an experienced opinion.

Ive got an extra Manifold differential Pressure Sensor i would let go for $15

Show up with $1k in hand and if he doesnt take it then go for $1200

I'd say it's worth a look. Go drive it and do the standard tests(compression and such). Overall looks like a decent deal.

The MDP sensor is only there to make sure that your egr is functioning properly. Do you have emissions testing? If not, don't worry about it.

Go to stmdsm.com and check out their sets of plugs and wires.

Used for the tuning software "DSMLink" or now called "ECM Tuning"

I would go with NGK BPR6ES spark plugs

and if you have the money go with MSD 8.5mm wires to get it out of the way

if not cheap Bosch, i used these for a while on my 50 trim 26psi

Hey man, im the one that PMed you about your car. How bad of damage is the GSX you are looking at in? I have to agree with others that there is no telling what could be wrong with that car, but sometimes buying a car with upgrades works out.

I priced up the mods this car has and its over 14k, but its also a 95. Getting this thing for a good price would be amazing, but that is because of the aftermarket parts. Like the Stage 4 SBR head, and the FP3065.

All in all you have to ask yourself, how much are the aftermarket parts worth to you? If you plan on buying all of the same things and installing them yourself than it will probably still cost you at least how much he is asking for the car.

Either way, if you decide to sell it, put me on the list. I already have the money because i have been looking for another eclipse for a while.

12.2 second DSM AWD *eclipse*

The car is meticulously well done. Starting off with a 12.2 sec car would be fine with me . Plans for future mods would be a GT30R @ 20ish psi. But that would be down the road.

Jump on it ! It looks pretty clean and for the price it's good. Worse comes to worse the motor goes bad you can always change it for another one and you can find cheap 4g63 motors for 1k. I say buy it !

I say be prepared to do some work. Don't fool yourself its a $1000.00 Car not a $5k car for $1k. I like how the seller left of the strut tower rust in the list of problems and that's obvious from the first pic, I'm sure there's gonna be things that you'll find wrong later otherwise i'm sure he would be asking more. You get what you pay for right? Sure the pics look good but unless all your gonna do is take pictures of it then that don't mean jack as far as what the car needs. JMOP

i would suggest going with the 96, although they say the frame is certifiably straight it will never be the way it was brand new

Hmm. I have the 1g in my pictures and I got mine for 1,800...With a little work it is where it is now with a 6 bolt in it with 43,000 miles on it.

Only shitty part is I have a 3 bolt rear end and an iffy tranny if you suck at driving.

+1. Although, ECM Tuning is the name of the company itself. DSMLink, now actually referred to as ECMLink for the new v3, is the tuning program they offer.

Doesn't look too bad. But check for rust elsewhere. You might have to get that strut tower fixed eventually.

i really wouldnt say that 1g and 2g cars are only show cars and not "fast cars" but anyway the 2g does sound like it is a better deal but the only problem is you are right around crank walk miles and if that happens say bye bye to the money you spent on the car

i meant 1g is more for race and 2g is more for show

Well I am pretty persuaded to get the latest one I posted. The guy says he has receipts for everything, even down to the last nut, bolt, and oil filter. I don't know how you get anymore legit. Once it stops snowing, I can go check it out/buy it.

I found a 91 eclipse gsx awd and he wants 1500 for it. It has 650cc injectors, 16g turbo, a 3" apexi exhaust and numerous other parts. It is black. The only thing wrong with it is that it is an automatics. (bummer) I can careless about that since I want it for a daily driver. The guy claims it runs mid 12s.
Is this a good buy?

Sounds good but I would drive it and maby take a dsm familiar person with you to inspect it. Just to make sure there arent too many hidden demons.
