First of all none of the talons/eclipses came with a v6, and for $500 i would get it in a heart beat. 6bolt motor and 4bolt rear end you can't beat that.

The 3g and 4g can come with a v6.

If the body is in good shape it is worth that price without anengine or trans.

its a 90 so it wont have the 4 bolt rear but it will have a 6 bolt motor. i would pick it up if i were you.

Just flatbed it home and then figure out for yourself what exactly is wrong with it. For only $500 it is definately worth it.

OK guys here is another one. I have a chance to by a 97GSX but I need to get rid of my first love but I need to find out what I can get out of it. I would hope for around $9000-00 or is that a pipe dream? Heres the mod list: Eclipse 1997 GS all leather tan interior with sunroof etc.

Looks way steep IMO. $11k for what he has listed just doesn't seem justified, especially when you have DSMTuners up here in the classifieds selling 500whp fully built cars for $8-9k. Just seems a little crazy to pay $11k for a GST with common mods although it definately is in nice condition, but you could definately get a lot better. Not to mention it's automatic, which is good for the strip but no fun driving . If I was going to pay $11 for a car I would want to take this GSX: Message - DSM Classifieds

Oh come on now..Its worth 8k....An it says it has 650's so it mite have dsm link (even though you would think he would have put that in the add), If it has dsm link then its ok if its recirc'd. Just giving the guy benefit of a doubt.....(you probably are right though)
I would say get a complete list of mods(since he was too lazy to type it) before you even think about it. It looks to me like the guy dont know what he has....
