Yeah suspension will be coming soon.Im getting Illuminas & Prokits.Anyways I need to get my arse a turbo.Im debating between the EVOIII 16G or the BIG T-28.Obviously I could put out more horsepower with the EVOIII,But I like the words ''bolt'' ''right'' ''up''.The t28 is almost $800 while the evoIII is only around $590.Yes ill need an install kit but it seems like the t28 is a little overpriced so im leaning towards the evo.Walbro pump,Injectors, and SAFC and I should be all set right? Is the SAFC a must have right away with the turbo?Or can I hold off on buying it a little while? Thanks

If your fwd you could consider a slowboy racing 2g20g also. It's another good turbo. If you would rather an evo16g then go ahead and jump on that wagon then. But if you honestly think about it an evo16g + porting + install kit is just a few dollars (50-150) under a big-t-28 + porting.

O well... goodluck with whatever you choose.

Yes, this is a nice FWD turbo.:shhh:

I would advise against a Big28 because you have a FWD. That quick and low spooling is going to break those tires loose. I love the Big28, I have one in my car, but I have AWD. As well, my goals were less focused on big hp numbers. I wanted some extra push, but I wanted to be able to do some very spirited driving as well.

Well looks like im gonna buy the evo 16g but i might have to buy it off ebay without being sure of what im getting.I dont have a credit card so i cant purchase my turbo from forced performance or slowboyracing. From what I see they only accept credit cards.OMG

Do you even have a friend with a credit card? How are going to pay for it on ebay then?

I use moneyorders all the time for ebay.I emailed SlowBoy racing.Im hoping they approve of me sending them a money order.

Ok well im in with most but stressed with the rest .

Their are things called supporting mods, most dont understand that even if you buy an evo 3 big 16 g ( wich by the way is the turbo you want) 350hp is the max power rating , meaning if you bolt it up it's not going to give you 350 off the bat ,

Listen If I were you I would buy a new Or slightly used evo turbo wich will bolt right up (you just need some new oil and water lines) , then buy extreme psi fuel kit.

I always support my shop wich is magnus but that doesent mean I dont recognize great deals , and extream psi has one with their fuel upgrade kit.

Buy the evo you will be very happy with it. As far as making 400 hp , well then look towards a new intake manifold, better intake tube ,and trust me that new fmic will help you get their.

I have done the 16 g install on my buddies 95 talon (with his help) it took me a total of 4.5 hours . Its not that hard .

But in my opinion after you do buy the turbo and fuel upgrades then do the shocks , try the kyb gas oem replacement shocks their cheap ,handle great, then throw in some lowering springs,i.e eibachs.

P.s If you are still interested in an evo turbo and I havent sold mine yet (by march 1'st) im selling mine for 460 american, wich coinsadently leaves you with 340 american.

Whatever your choice good luck.:thumb:

Yes i understand just buying a bigger turbo and throwing it on wont automatically give you the full potential horsepower that turbo can put out.I do plan on a new fuel pump and injectors.Theres a deal i found for injectors and pump for $250.Money is no problem to me.Im not rich but I have $350+ a week to spend on mods minimum.I hear nothing but good comments about the EVO 16G.Ive done my research and from what I hear its one hell of a turbo. It can put out right around 400HP which is my goal so I think it will serve me well.Hopefully SBR will except a money order so I can get the turbo off of them, and not have to worry about its quality. Then ill buy the 255lph pump and some injectors.Front Mount a little after ofcourse and SAFC.I also plan on the EVOIII O2 housing,Manifold, and I def. need a 3 inch downpipe. For suspension I plan on Eibach Prokit springs and Tokico Illumina shocks as I mentioned before,Thanks for all the comments guys you have really been a huge help so far:thumb:

Alright I got a 94 Eagle Talon TSi AWD with 3 Inch intake, and a 2100lb act clutch, If you had 300 dollars to spend what would you get?

You could do anything like a BOV or a custom exhaust. Or you could get some type of injectors, downpipe, or anything! it's your car pick the parts you want and put them on then post some pics!

a little off the subject but take the 300 bucks and fill up your gas tank. Drive to the nearest bank and get the rest put into one dollar bills. drive the the nearest strip club and have the time of your life. And do remember it is a DSM so save some money for gas on the way home.

Gain 40 horsepower and needed monitoring. Best bet there. Maybe some new plugs for $14 bucks too.

Everyone on DSMTuner's told me to get UIC pipes, I did and I love them!
Get the I/C pipes! But you need to list what BOV you have to palce an order, and so if u ordered one to fit a stock BOV your kind of stuck with the stock BOV flange on the pipe if you ever want to get something like a Greddy BOV. So get the Greddy BOV, and then get the I/C pipes. That way you can order the pipes to have the Greddy BOV flange.
After you get that, you'll be sucking in more air but the stock exhaust won't really be pushing the extra out. So therefore a cat back exhaust is a good idea!

I thought that a greddy Type S could be mounted on a 1g flange if I am not mistaken, all you ahve to do is drill two holes closer in.

The original poster has a 1G, a BOV is not necessary. The funny thing is that the people recommending it are 2G people so they're right and wrong.

Start with an exhaust.

Lastly, I don't know the condition of your car. But if it needs a timing belt replaced, a tune up, and new fluids I would recommend doing maintenance first.

Would these mods remain mostly the same for a 2g awd dsm? I just got my Talon and I'm trying to decide my first upgrades (the car is completely stock as of now). And I want personal opinions on both mods and brand names; I have already read the staged upgrade lists on dsmtuner and SBR.
