Two of the 4 D-Gauges I've orderedcame in the mail today, and of course, I had to wire one up to see what they looked like.

This is the only "in car" picture I took. The gauge is brighter than my instrument cluster, but the wiring on it is ####ed up somewhere and it fades in and out. Time to fix that shit. :thumbdown

I bet you $10 you'll get a messed up boost gauge... Hope not, but dont expect a good one, it took me 3 returns to finally get one. Other then that, good choice in gauges

So far I've only gotten the EGT in. As you can see I only have a single pod, and I know what my boost is set to, so I figured I'd throw in the more usefull gauge for now.

Drilling and tapping - 10 minutes
Wiring - 20 minutes (I suck)



I took that pic by setting the tripod up in the back seat, and keeping the shutter open for 8 seconds.


I bought my Boost gauge from a private party, but as of now the needle is halfway between "0" and "1". I told him to ship it in a big U-Haul box full of bubble wrap and packing peanuts.

How come in the in-car pic your egt is at 0, shouldn't it atleast be at like 3/4? or did you just hook up the lights to see how it would look?

gauges are nice. I plan on getting them. check your grounds. You might have a loose one or it isnt fulling touching the metal causing the power to flake.

Yeah, the gauge was just lit up in that one picture, that was 5 minutes of me playing around becasue I wanted to see how well it matched the stockers. Pretty good


I'm sure it's some bullshit wire somewhere that once I find it, it'll be one of those "I can't belive I didn't look here first" blatantly obvious deals. I'm a procrastinator, I'll do it tomorrow...

Well that's the third place I've put it, and so far the most convienient for me. My stock tach is pretty worthless, so I use the AFC. Plus when making changes while driving, I can still keep an eye on the road if need-be. Trust me, I'm not in it for "bling"
