Non-sealed Battery Box in a Spyder?

So I've thinking of relocating the battery to the trunk for awhile now for many reasons. Now if I mount the battery in the trunk which is separate from the cabin of the car, can I use a marine style battery box thats not sealed for fumes? I was looking at this one...

Hello there buddy..Of course you can use a marine style battery box..I just can't imagine what will happen with this but I think it would work based on the link you've posted.

The fumes would build in your trunk. Not good. You want something that has a vent hose that you have have exit the trunk.

Battery's naturally give off hydrogen gas and a few other not so nice things. If that builds up to a point where it could A. kill you from exposure B. blow up killing you C.catch on fire killing you D. Catch on fire then blow up then blow your tank triple harsh smack down killing you with a tall glass of roasted toasted and only identifiable by dental records.... with a large side of I TOLD YOU SO. Seal it or vent it either way. Hydrogen gas it not to be played with.....
