To all the Spyder owners, you know of the small area that's behind the back seat and in front of the trunk right? Well I was curious to know if I could put a subwoofer box with a 12", 10" or dual 8"s in that area and still be able to put the top down.
Has anyone else done this or thought about doing this? Were there any complications in doing this, or was it pretty much straight forward? What's the size of that space?
I don't want to put the sub box in my trunk because I have a full size spare tire and I plan on relocating the battery to the trunk.

I have a sub box (single 10") as well as my battery under the top. There is roughly 14" of vertical room with the top down. No interference at all. Best technique would be to remove the back seat and trunk board and measure everything, then remove the entire top to put everything down in there. It is possible to do it with the top still on the car, but it's a pain in the butt.
