I have recently purchased my new, but old, 1g 1990 mit. eclipse gs n/t. I am going to take out and rebuild the engine and make it all i can natuarally aspirated. I am thinking about doing a 2.3l stroker kit upgrade to my 2.0L. Also upgrading my stack cams to a 2g cam and other bolt-ons. If any one can help me and gettina hold of all information on torque specs, engine parts needed, specifications on parts to order, anything i need to know to complete this task. I wish to keep it non-turbo to keep up the challege i like to have with my cars. I just need information and if anything, a shopping list for it and all the specs for the parts needed and all the specs the engine must have for it. For whom ever re-plies, you my e-mail with responses and facts.

Just to let you know from what I understand the 2g turbo camshaft has LESS lift than the 1g (92-94) intake camshaft. But finding one in as good of shape as a 2g one will be harder. Good luck.
