The ABS comes on when I'm accelerating.

the ABS flashes when I accelerate real hard, and it backfires really loud. Well it only blinks for couple times, and the car jerks back and forth, and the cd player all of the sudden loses power and goes off and on in a matter of seconds. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem. I was thinkin either the spark plugs, or the test pipe...i dunnoe, still learning here so mind helpin me out.

Sounds like something electrical to me. Like ECU or MPI relay or bad connection somewhere. Not familiar with the 2G electrical systems though.

Make sure battery is tied down so + post can't touch hood and is covered by rubber insulator. This is a known problem.
