Well just saying thanks to the guys there atthe shop for getting my car done quickly and tuned for low, low 10 sec power.

Thanks to:

Sean B.
Jerry
Jessie
Kamil
Edwin
Nat
Mike
Etc.

This weekend was a pretty fantastic one

We got the car tuned and are now maxed out on the 1000cc inj. they are at 96% d/c .

We are now running 34psi on the built 2.0L motor w/ the UN-PORTED head w/ cams and valve springs/retainers. STOCK valves!

We are using a specific blend fuel from a local company here called ERC that is rated at 120 oct.

The car is a beast from 5000 up to redline and hope we can get it into the low, low 10's consistantly and hopefully a 9.99 by the end of the year.

To top things off we entered the car in a JDM Theory car show this weekend and received 3rd place for "BEST ENGINEERED"

Ummm...this is a DSM Forum...not an EVO forum....SPAM!!!!!

.....just kidding. All that power on the initial break in too...seks

Nice job! Hey question for you, since your in the EVO crowd. Why is it most of the EVO guys don't realize FFTEC has prob. if not the most 4g63 experience compared to those other local shops that the majority of the nor cal evo guys go to?

Definitely badass Pat.. Makes me want to run out to FFTec and get tuned for my 500awhp dyno hopefully as well. :thumb:

NorrCali on top baby. :thumb:

hey, DON'T FORGET ME,...

ROFL

(I was the one who suggested where to cut your intercooler pipe to make it work with the new smim, since sean would have NEVER figured that one out, LOL)

anyways, did you guys pump up the boost? Im assuming since you slapped it back on the dyno you got a clutch in there that won't slip, so what did you go with? just a 2900 or something special? personally I'd have gone with a twin disk or something insane, since then you would have at least ONE reminder that the car is modded when you hop into the drivers seat.

edwin recently informed me of the cost of insurance on a evo, so sadly I won't be building one any time soon. makes seeing your car/feeling how easy that clutch was and how nice the interior is that much harder,...

lets see 600+ with a 150 wet shot and get that car into the mid 9's.

With a simple change of the turbo kit to our off the shelf GT35R kit and a larger set of injectors the car has run a best time of 9.97 at 142.32 mph.

lets see if your as good a driver as the man himself, LOL. Maybe after 30 miles behind the wheel of your car you'll have enough experience to run that fast, LOL. I still can't believe that your first time driving it was from the pits to the starting line. A miss shift 11.6 is sill an 11.6 the first time you EVER drove the car. props man.

good luck with the car, beat the crap out of it a few times for me, LOL
