Any one know the specs on a 3in 1g awd test pipe so I can either A) buy a universal one or B) buy the materials to make my own. Or if anyone is selling one. I need it to bolt on to a 3in DP and 2.75 inlet of my cat back.

Just buy 2 foot of 3" pipe and two flanges, any place that can weld the pipe on can cut it down a little shorter, or just measure your catalytic converter first since that's what it's replacing, make it the same length. Back when i didn't own a welder my first "test pipe" cost me 20 bucks to go to an exhaust shop and have made from 2.5 aluminized exh tubing and the flanges, that included the welding i just measured the cat and told them the length (that was 14 years ago though LOL )

about 200$ is the estimate they gave me for one at some shops, and no Bud I couldnt find a 3in either, the one I got is a 2.75 inlet to a 3 in but no a full three.

Ya Tim I could not find a 3 inch catback on ebay either..Just 2.75..So I havn't ordered anything yet..I'll just wait a bit to order..

The exhaust shop wanted to charge you 200 for a test pipe..WTF kinda crazy poo is that..

GEt the flanges you want on the ends, mail them to me with 25 bucks and i'll put the ends on the SS pipe for you (i'm supplying the 3" SS for the 25 bucks)and mail it back complete. get the end that copnnects to the cat back in the type where the collars rotate around the flange so it's gauranteed to fit since you can twist one end. the other just make sure it matchest the DP

PM me and i'll make it for you if you really are having that hard of a time, just gimme the length of the stock 1g converter

Ya 200 hundred is high just for a test pipe, i got my full custom 3" exhaust done by a local shop them providing the pipe for 230$.

I don't have the luxury of having an exhaust shop fab me one up..I'm a half hour away from a shop..And I was going to just do it myself..Which Is why I was looking on ebay..I am also going o2 housing back for a true turboback..

I also think I'm content by spending more than 250 on my exhaust setup..Do it once and do it right is what I'm going for..The only hiccup I have is getting an ebay o2 housing..But I'll do a parts writeup anyway..

it was 200 for the pipe and intallation. I want to try to install myself. I found a 3in one on ebay for 40$ but its a GS-t not a AWD so Im unsure if it would fit.

I got a nice 3in DP off ebay for 65$ +shipping, stainless steal, mandrel bends, and the welds are actully good, it from a guy named cooper store or something, he makes 02 housing both recirc and dumped. Have not put it on yet so Im unsure of how it fits tho
