Has any one seen a Resonated 3 inch test pipe for an AWD.

I have poked around a good bit and I cant seem to find anyone who makes that combination. many people make test pipes for dsm's not enough make resonated ones.

does anyone even know of some one who could do it on the cheap?

long story short I lent out my welder to a friend in the fall, now its in Florida. ill get it back before spring i hope .. in any case it pains me to find and pay some one to weld on some stinkin flanges if their was one to be had ready made.

I looked at meggan racing and im pretty sure they only had a 2.5 inch with a resonator, But i will double check.

Megan Racing only offers a 2.25 pipe for the second gen AWD.

Unfortunately for the first gen they offer a 3inch for FWD and AWD... but i assume the flanges on this are different enough to make this not an option for a second gen..?

whats different about the flanges?
Mine bolted up a to a 2G downpipe and 1G exhaust just fine

No Shit? Is their really no difference between the 1st and second gen Cats? the flanges aren't offset or a different length apart or anything? can any one confirm this..

Alot of exhaust systems had resonators built into then where it is NOT removable. So make sure whatever your reading/researching on is what you want.

For your info, VRS makes one. At least they made one for me, when I ordered my exhaust. This is for sure is not listed on their site, but give them a call. I required, instead of TEST pipe, just weld a ressonator in there. I went a little further and put a heat shield around it, to look lke real CAT. Just call them and ask for 2G test pipe. If they want to sell this only piece, ask them to put a resonator there. The test pipe, actually had ends rolled and the 2 bolt flanges are spinning around, so it bolts right on, regardless of the angle of the existing flange.

Thanks for the info! ill give them a call in the morning and see what they say.

still waiting to see if anyone can tell me if their are any differences between the cat position and flangeing of the 1g and 2g
