test pipe on stock exaust

Just a thought that came to mind the other day but if i were to remove the catalatic converter with a test pipe on a stock 1994 turbo exhuast system would there be any negative effects with the emmisions. chances are that there wouldnt be but i want to make sure before i remove a 14 year old converter and brake it to find out my car goes haywire with a straight pipe in its place.

The car would run fine. You'd see probably somewhere around 5hp. But there's a good chance you won't pass emissions.

I figured as mutch that it would run fine ..just well had to double check you know,and as far as emissions are concerned..well its vermont anough said.
