Need help with my tensioner pulley. I just replace it ,and all the timing components. Could some one tell me whats the best way to adjust it. Also i bought the spanner wrench.

To adjust the eccentric pulley, you just need to loosen the bolt and move it by hand/tool until the belt is tight. You can compress the tensioner by removing it and slowly compressing it with a C-clamp or vice. Install grenade pin, install tensioner, and adjust the eccentric pulley until grenade pin slides out easily.

Colt, he's not removing anything, I believe he's simply setting tension on the belt basically.

Loosen the tensioner pulley bolt (14mm) take the spanner wrench to the eccentric pulley and turn the pulley COUNTERclockwise UNTIL the grenade pin is loose. Let it sit a minute and if it's still loose tighten up that 14mm bolt. IMPORTANT, let it setlle for 30 minutes or so and come back to make sure the pin is still loose. I personally just let it sit a few hours but then again I get sidetracked by a bunch of other stuff around the house.
