Stock evo x pistons are 86mm, so you need a .40 overbore.

For this fact alone I'd rather run stock overbore 2G pistons. The cost of stock evo stuff (which really isn't stronger than the stock dsm stuff) makes it pretty pointless to me, and I'd rather not bore farther than necessary.

Also, I'd read the reviews section before deciding on what shop to go with.

Also, why would you not run oil squirters if you're running stock internals?

And I'd rather have a good crank than one that's been cut.
 
i was worried too. my crank had to get redone. they took .25mm off and it is fine. I think thats about .010. correct me if im wrong and i agree as well look around first:cool:
 
I ran a 6bolt with out squirters for 3 years in my beater with a big 16g at about 24psi no problems at all, had 2g pistons on 1g big rods. Nothing wrong with not running them in my opinion.
