I am buying Tein Flex coilovers soon and I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could pick them up for under $1,300 shipped... I can't find it lower then that anywhere.. Ebay is only like 20 bucks less than that.

Yeah, I just want a suspension that will be able to take a windy highway. I'm on all stock suspension and I can't take it anymore.. I can barley keep my power to the ground sometimes..

well i think suspension is the number 1 thing to tune but thats my oppinion and prefference.

you can also increase the handling charactoristics with sway bars, strut bars and brakes are important too

I plan on getting the Tein Flex coilovers really soon.

My buddy has them on his S2k, he just put them on 2 days ago. To be honest, it rides amazing. I like really stiff suspension and so does my buddy. He preloaded the spring a considerable amount and has them on the stiffest setting (crazy). The car does feel like its on rails though, they are stiff but somehow manage to feel comfortable considering what they are set at. Definetely the best coilovers i've had expirience with.

I not sure how much the Type Flex cost to rebuild but I can tell you they will be with Tein for about 6-8 weeks. I currently have one front strut blown on my Tein Super Streets and they said it would take them that long to look at them and maybe fix them... I need a suspension now so I bought Tein's Flexs.

I have the Flexs and wouldnt suggest them to anyone who does daily street driving unless the roads are really smooth. They made my suspension so stiff that on my rear quarter panels right above the shock, there are waves in the panel from it flexing.
After noticing this I bought a rear strut bar and the waves didnt get any worse, so Im assuming the rear strut bar helped.

The flexs are WAY too aggressive for the street imo, If I could go back in time I would buy the Tein SS since they are more suitable for street use.
They def help you stick to the road though, but even on the softest setting, they are really stiff. If you have large rims get ready for a bumpy ride and you will feel EVERY blemish on the road.

With my 18's on, a crack in the road feels like a speedbump. With my stock 16's on, its alot more comfortable to drive on the street.
