tapping

[99 E-klips gs]

Not too much of a mechanic, still learning. But my girl had my car for a week while I was out of town and when I got back I realized it was tapping Cuzz she said it go too low on oil. So I checked the oil and filled it up, still tapping. But the next day I started it up, I guess the idler pulley blew up and threw timing, bent some valves. I replaced the bad valves, resurfaced the head and put back together. Its still tapping. I'm guessing this must be my hydraulic lash adjusters?(lifters)

And if I was to put some Lucas oil stabalizer in it, would this go away?

Its only tapping some, maybe 1 or 2 lifters bad.

Could this be bad cams? Bad rockers?
