Tap and Die

Hi guys i just had a quick question for anyone that has done a tap and die job before. A few days ago i replaced my O2 housing and O2 sensor, in the process i broke two of my exhaust manifold bolts. So now i have one hole with messed up threads and another hole with a bolt stuck in it. So its come down to i need to tap in die. So...what do i need and what steps will i need to take? Any response is welcome.

its not tap in die. when you "tap" something you make inner threads for a bolt.
and a "die" is used to make or redo threads on a bolt or stud. you will need to tap the o2 bung...not die.

i believe the tap is a 8mm x 1.25. you will have to double check that though. you will get the correct "easy-out" for the exhaust stud, drill the stud as per instructions, remove broken stud. then come back with the tap to clean up the 2 holes. i would suggest cleaning all of the exhaust stud threads while you are at it.
