Hey everyone. I have a 96 spyder gs, and I was thinking of doing a 2gb talon conversion. I'm not fully sure yet how it will look so I want to know if anyone here has pictures of this conversion.

You can buy headlights for a 2ga (same as talon 2gb)


Some 2ga headlights look very good.

Sadly, I don't think you can have the boomerang spoiler and a functional trunk.

For some reason all of them are missing the side slashes.... But I swear, if you threw a 2gb high rise, some side slashes, and maybe a tonneau cover. Put it on some 17" RPF1s.... pure ####ing sex.

Also, if you find a set of 2gb headlights cheap, its rather easy to modify them to line up with the talon bumpers. You just need to swap the clear lenses, the shape of the headlight is the same, its the lens shape that changes

still have to redo the front bumper so it will match the 97+ eclipse head lights

That white Spyder is the one I would've posted if it hadn't been already. I don't generally even like convertibles, but that car looks amazing. That being said, I say do it!

I've been wanting to do this forever. Still haven't found a spyder I really like that's worth what the seller is asking. I've never been a huge fan of the Eclipse body style, seems more "girly"

You need to stick the headlights in the oven to bake the lens off. Pretty straight forward from there.

Mine has been done for a while now. I found all color matching panels for it . It is back lower in the front after the pics were taken. It is on 17x9 rota grinds 235/45/17. Also the white cowl and wipers are gone. It is nice to have it back together and running after sitting apart for over 10 years

Did you use the rattle can plastidip? And did you have to order the red on line?

That looks great converted and wingless. I'd love to see it with the orange section of the tail lamps tinted with Niteshades.

I will be tinting the tail when I have time to do it. I have tinted tails for years for locals. I use all ppt pints and clear to do them. I never liked the way night shades spray paint looked
