so basically my hatch lock is messed up so i ended up bending my key on my hatch. i kinda used a vice to fix it, but i was wondering if you guys knew any place online that i could get the black backed mitsubishi key. i really dont wanna go through a dealer, or even a talon key. thanks alot

Not sure about the '95, but my '96 is a chip key. You can get a key cut, but it will need to be programmed by the dealer or it won't start the car. I could be wrong, but that how the chipped Toyota keys work that I've delt with.

Our DSM keys are not chipped.

I'd check on eBay first, I bought a set of 2 OEM blank keys for $16 shipped. EBay also has aftermarket replacement plastic capped keys. If you can't find them there, give the dealer your VIN and they will grind you a copy for fairly cheap.

Incorrect. DSM keys have no chips in them.

yea thanks alot, i was aware they werent chipped. i was just curious as to finding a replacement black top key. ill probably end up just checking ebay, thanks alot

just go to the dealer and get one, why wait for e-bay to ship it, and why pay the shipping, when you can pay $1.18 and get a ket made at a mitsu dealer- just a thought

I'm looking to get a switchblade key for my 1990 Talon TSi. I know you can get them for 1990 Eclipse GSX. Would it be the same blank? Eagle/Mitsu

So... I had a factory code cut key made for my 1990 GSX using a 2g Factory Keyblank! I loved the way that looked. Anyway to make a long story short... My Girlfriends dog chewwed the rubber off my key last night while i was sleeping! Now I'm looking to get another one made. Unfortunately, the mitsu dealer in town just closed down... Anyone know what the part number is???
