Seen this on craigslist I have a 91 5 speed but want auto :) what u think

I'm just wanting to sell or trade all stock but the head is ported and polished it has new valves a new head gaskets new exhaust gaskets it has 136k on it all original turbo needs seals and the head liner fabric is gone that's the only thing its awd it is a dohc call or looking to trade on guns or cash offers make an offer any offer will be considered I also have the stock wheels extra cams that will go with it for that price.

Said it won't stay running due to Turbo seals LOL I know better than that but wants 2200 bucks let me know what u would pay for it

Its awd and I have a good evo3 16g ,fp2 came ecm link just need bigger injectors what would be best bet on injectors what size also gonna put arp studs in and new head gasket just wanna get into the low 12s possible with 16g?

You will want a 2g manifold, or manual manifold. The auto's runners are very small.

You can do 450's,manual fpr, and manual ecu.For stock auto upgrades. But if you want more than go with link and other upgrades.

Just like the fact of running consistant times with the auto and saving as much drive train as I can

No e85 around here kind of a bummer but like I said not shooting for 10s yet like alot of new guys I am going to take the baby steps first I'm going to do the blue wire mod I seen the road surge shift box is there anything else to use other than that I seen some where they were changing stuff with a eprom tcu? Is that possible

Upgrade or restall? Any done know the prices on a restall

Thats awesome. I recently scored a bone stock 91 tsi awd for 300 bones, trans dead though.

Man u can't beat 300 bucks tho nice score! Can't wait to get it been wanting a auto bad LOL already catching greif from my buddie he has a 5 speed 1g at about 500 to the wheels and another dude just went auto around here after shredding his 5 speed but when your putting down 707 at the wheels somethings gonna break :)

The roadsurge boxes are amazing.Wonderful idea.

The restalls from IPT are a couple hundred bux, but do work. And then there are aftermarket ones that go upwards of 4k rpms.

I was reading about the roadsurge box seen someone miss his engine and tranny up due to it resetting and down shifting to 11k rpms is a Hurst shifter better or what are the options? Sorry for so many questions and thanks for answering them wish I could give u rep points hopefully s mod will see this and give you some :)

I'm not sure I should talk about that. But I can tell you that particular box was the only one to do that, I have ever heard about.

I would still put my faith in the roadsurge box.

O I'm not bashing them or trying to say anything bad sorry for coming off like that do u still use the shifter to shift or the box? I just have bad luck on things man sry I do apologize about that statement didn't mean it in that perspective I'm probably gonna look into it tho does seem like alot of people use it so it was probably just that one box or a wiring miss up on owner of car idk

I'm just saying I would put my money on the roadsurge box. It's cheaper from the roadsurge website as well.

You use the buttons to shift with it, one for up, one for down. With a digital display, to tell you what gear you are in.And now the box has shifter protection, it will default to third gear if something goes wrong. Also the box is fully warrenteed.

Id rather do the kiggly shifter mod, thats what I plan on doing . I wish Ipt converters were only a couple hundred, try 500

Im thinking next fall Ill be doing a trans rebuild, shift kit and tc all from Ipt. Kiggly shifter set up then see what my 16g 2g head set up and a set of 264 272 cams will do on race gas LOL cant wait. Just need cash for the ipt stuff have everything else. But of course need to finish the 93

Is the kiggly mod the one you can use a ratchet shifter? I think that is what I was reading

O I see so u can't have it shift it for you while daily driving I guess they both have pros and cons I'll probably go withe the road surge cause I want to be able to let it shift for me while daily driving and shift my self at the track.

Id rather shift mine manually anyways, but that's my preference. My talon will probably not see the street to often even though its lightly modded. My main street car is my 93, its a 5speed rebuilt by myself. Same will go for the talon, I do not like trusting nor paying people to work on my vehicles, however reputable they are I do all my own work.

I hear ya man I'm the same way have access to a fully stck ed garage its my wife's grandpa's transmission shop its nice to have lifts and all but this car will be my daily to get back and forth to work when time comes its gonna be a hard decision just glad I found me a auto LOL
