TailLights

I'm just starting to paint my Eclipse and I have noticed that people are painting there brake light lenses the same color as there cars . Does anyone have some pics. I'm thinking of doing it to my car.

I know of paiting the centre piece (That says Eclipse, Turbo ect.) and smoking the tail lights (that makes them look pure black). Not sure if there are other colours though.

I have seen the middle part and the upper bar on the sides of the taillights. I thought it looked good.

i bought a set of carbon fiber lights, and painted the center piece.. i think the style of the aftermarket trails r perfect

i think i know what you are talking about man, i tried doing my hole taillights in blue like my car,but it looked trash during the day,and it looked like trash at night,didn't like the hole look, then had to buy new tails, but you can try it,maybe it was just the blue that made it look like crap, do the smoke like i did, looks the best to me

i didnt paint any of mine, i bought a carbon fiber center piece from Leo at carbonwerks.com, there outta business tho, you might be able to find one off ebay. Just thought i'd toss another option out there.

Carbonwerks went out of business? That sucks they made some quality products. I was planning on buying a few things from them and I was wondering why the website wasn't up anymore.
