Tach signal

Hey I have a 96 esi I've looked aroun on the internet and I haven't been able to find the pin out of the ecu for the tach I wanna put a shiftlight in but I can't figure out what wire I need to tap into does anybody know what I need to do so this light will wrk?

That pinout doesn't really help at all considering its for a turbo. You have 2 options, look at the ECU and use a DVOM to see which wire it is, or pull your cluster out and find the white wire to tap into(of course verifying with a DVOM). Really is a no brainer.

Yes... it does. There's only one white wire going from the PCM to the gauge cluster. That's the wire you're looking for.

58 is my guess but i guess could be 88 or 89. Sorry, not really sure for a 2g.
