Tach GMR pickup

Im having trouble with my 90s tach not getting a signal. I posted a thread about it before

After talking to the previous owner I discovered that the car actually has a 91-94 ecu in it. (even though the cover actually says 90). Jeff from DSMchips installed an internal tach adapter so it could still send a signal to the 90 tach. This involves removing diodes and soldering the adapter in, along with internally switching pinouts.

I do not want to get myself in the mess of taking that stuff out. So my question is. Has anyone succesfully used one of these GMR pickups on a dsm?

Are you running a 91-94 ecu?

Yes I am running a 91-94 ecu but has a tach adapter in it to run on the 90 tach. But ever since I put the 91-94 cas and tps in the tach won't work.

Putting the CAS and TPS in wont effect the Tack. The tack for the 91-94 get its signal from the Transistor block vs the 90's have a Tacho interface attached to the back of the coil pack. I would maybe double check the wiring real quick.

In Dsmlink I am getting a reading for rpm. Does that mean the wiring for the coilpack and power transistor is fine? Or does the ecu get an rpm reading elsewhere?
